Skitty Golf

Privacy notice

Effective September 22, 2026

Skitty Golf is a limited beta golf-practice app. This notice explains what the beta stores and why.

Information we process

When you choose to provide it, the app stores your Apple sign-in identifier, profile and goals, swing videos, analysis and feedback, practice sessions, journal entries, rounds, and app settings. Camera, Photos, and microphone access happen only after you choose the related feature. Short note audio is used for transcription and is not retained by the app after transcription.

How it is used

We use this information to operate your private account, sync your records, analyze swings you submit, show evidence-linked coaching observations, improve beta reliability, prevent abuse, and respond to beta feedback. Skitty Golf does not sell your personal information or use it for advertising.

Course GPS

If you tap Use GPS during a round, Skitty Golf uses your foreground device location to calculate distances to course features. The current location and route are not saved to your account, uploaded, shared, used for advertising, or retained after the live distance session. You can deny or stop location access and continue scoring normally. Downloaded course data is stored on your device for offline play and includes attribution to its source.

Finding courses

If you allow location, the course picker lists courses near you. Your position is used on your device only: iOS determines which US state you are in, and Skitty Golf sends only that two-letter state code to the course data service (OpenGolfAPI) to download the public list of courses in that state. Distances to those courses are calculated on your device, and your exact location is never sent. Course names you type into search are sent to the same service to find matching courses. Recently chosen courses are saved with your player record so they appear on your other devices. A course you choose is downloaded for your round and removed from your device after the round is finished or deleted.

Service providers and retention

Clerk supports authentication; Cloudflare supports app delivery and private storage; and configured inference providers process submitted swing evidence to produce an analysis. Access is limited to operating the beta. Records and private originals are retained while your account is active or as needed to resolve a beta incident.

Your choices

You can delete individual local and cloud videos using in-app controls. You can request deletion of your account and associated cloud records from Profile. The request is acknowledged in the app and completed within seven days. Copies stored only in Apple Photos or only on your phone remain under your control.

Beta contact

For privacy questions or an urgent deletion issue, reply to the beta invitation you received. Beta participants should not send swing videos or sensitive information by email.
